Councils Share £75 Million For Major Road Improvements

On Tuesday 1st August the winners of the DfT Highways Maintenance Challenge fund were announced– this is the allocation of £75 million to local authorities around the country for major road improvements.
Details are in the press notice below. The gov.uk story gives further details of a number of schemes and around Bristol totalling £8-9 million which will benefit from the funding.
