The Liveable City – A Danish-British Dialogue in Bristol

The Liveable City – A Danish-British Dialogue in Bristol

How do we create beautiful cities with a more resilient economy, healthier residents
and a better quality of life for everyone?
The Liveable City is a celebration of architecture and urban planning. In 2015, Bristol
took over from Copenhagen as the European Green Capital
. As Bristol prepares to
hand over the baton, we look at ways that planners, architects, businesses and local
communities can play their part in the development of a dynamic, liveable city.
The Danish Embassy in the UK invites businesses, politicians, professionals and
the general public to take part in talks, seminars and debates. We encourage all
stakeholders to take part in this Danish-British dialogue, inspiring each other to find
new ways in which our cities can be made better places to live, work and play.
The event which is organised by the Danish Embassy is part of the Festival of the Future City – a special series of debates during November which focuses on the future of urban environments.
